HubSpot is a powerful inbound marketing and sales platform for smart marketers, which I highly recommend on my resources page. Here I will show you two simple ways to add Facebook Pixel to HubSpot. You will need to be hosting your content (website, blog, email, or landing pages) on a HubSpot Marketing Hub subscription (Basic, Pro, or Enterprise).
Add Facebook Pixel (Base Code) across HubSpot
Option 1. Connect using HubSpot Ads Tool
This is the easier option of the two. Navigate to Marketing > Leads Capture > Ads. (You can also access the Ads tool settings via Settings > Marketing > Ads)

Click the Connect Account button to link in your Facebook Ads account.
Follow the instructions to connect your Facebook ads account to HubSpot. This integration allows HubSpot to view and manage your Facebook ads account, which is needed for it to manage your Facebook Pixel.
- Connect your Facebook account
- Select the appropriate Facebook ads account
- Facebook lead syncing: This is an optional step that allows you to automatically sync into HubSpot CRM any leads generated from Facebook lead ads that you may run.
- Pixel tracking: This is where you select your Facebook pixel for installation across your HubSpot platform
You’ve now added the Facebook pixel base code across your HubSpot content. Scroll down to learn how to add granular Facebook pixel event code to HubSpot.

If you have previously connected your Facebook Ads account, then you will see a Settings button instead which you should click on.
Then navigate to the Pixels tab and review your Pixels set up or add a Pixel.
You’ve now added the Facebook pixel base code across your HubSpot content. Next: scroll down to learn how to check your pixel.
Option 2. Manually Add Pixel Base Code
First, find your Facebook Pixel base code.
- Go to Events Manager in Facebook. and click on the «Set up» button.
- On the next screen, click on «Manually Install the Code Yourself».
- You will see the entire Pixel code displayed, which we will shortly insert into HubSpot.
Within HubSpot, navigate to Settings > Marketing > Webpages. To add the Facebook Pixel across all your HubSpot-hosted content (website, blog, email, or landing pages), ensure that you are modifying «All domains». Of course, you can also choose to add this to say only your blog or website.
Scroll to the Site header HTML section and paste the <script> </script> portion of the Facebook pixel base code.
In the Site Footer HTML section, paste the <noscript> </noscript> portion of the pixel code.
Click Save. You’ve now added the Facebook pixel base code across your HubSpot content. Next: scroll down to learn how to check your pixel.
Check that your Pixel is working
Go to the Pixels tab in Facebook Ads manager and click on «Send Test Traffic». If its status changes to Active (this might take a few minutes to update), then it means the Pixel code has been installed correctly.
Alternatively, you may also use the Chrome browser (download link) and install the Facebook Pixel Helper extension. The Facebook Pixel Helper is a great free tool that helps you check that your Pixel is working correctly, and to troubleshoot any errors. You can also use it to find out if your competitors are using Facebook pixel on their websites!
Once you’ve successfully installed the extension you’ll see a notification that the plugin has been added to Chrome and a small icon will show in your address bar. Click the Pixel Helper icon in the address bar and check the popup to see any pixels found on that page, and whether they’ve been set up successfully.
If the Pixel Helper finds a pixel on your site and there are no errors, then congratulations! You’re all set and ready to start multiplying your Facebook ad success.
